FAQ

The questions people ask before they call.

Service-specific questions live on each service page. Still stuck? Ask us directly.

Working together

Who will I actually be working with?

Someone who'll actually work on your account, from the first call on. No handoff to an account manager.

How fast do you reply?

Within one business day, usually sooner. For anything urgent, like a site being down, call or text.

Do you only work in South Orange County?

That's where we focus and where we can meet in person. We work with businesses anywhere by phone and video.

What's in the free audit?

A short, plain-English review of your website and Google listing: what's working, what's broken, and what we'd fix first. It's yours to keep whether or not you hire us.

What if I'm not a good fit?

We'll tell you, and if we know someone who is a better fit, we'll point you to them.

Contracts and ownership

Is there a contract?

Yes, a short written agreement that lists what you're buying and what it costs. It's month-to-month with 30 days notice to cancel.

Who owns the website?

You do. Your domain, content, and images belong to you. If you leave, we hand over the files and logins.

Who owns my Google Business Profile and ad accounts?

You do. They're set up under your business, and we're added as a manager. Removing us takes one click.

Can you guarantee I'll rank first on Google?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. Google decides rankings. We make sure everything Google looks at is complete, accurate, and current.

Websites

How long does a website take?

It depends on the size and how quickly we get your info and photos. The timeline goes in your agreement before you pay anything.

Do I need to write the content?

No. We write it after a conversation with you, and you approve every word before launch.

I don't have good photos. Is that a problem?

Phone photos of real jobs work better than stock photos. We'll tell you exactly what to shoot and fix the lighting and cropping.

Can you fix my current site instead of building a new one?

Sometimes. If the site is on a platform worth keeping, fixing it may be cheaper. The audit will say which way we'd go and why.

Money

Why are some prices one-time?

One-time prices cover work that happens once: building your site, cleaning up your Google listing, setting up an ad account. Once it's done, you don't pay for it again.

Why are some prices monthly?

Monthly prices cover work that has to keep happening: hosting and security updates, new posts and review replies on your listing, checking and adjusting ads, fixing what breaks. Google, your competitors, and the software all keep changing, so a site or listing that's left alone goes stale.

Why do some services have both?

Because they have both kinds of work. With Google Ads, the setup fee pays for building the campaigns, and the monthly fee pays for the weekly checks and adjustments after that.

Why not one bigger price up front?

That would mean paying now for months of work that hasn't happened yet. Paying monthly, with 30 days notice to cancel, you only keep paying while it's worth it to you.

What does the $50 a month care plan cover?

Hosting, security updates, backups, uptime checks, small edits, a monthly speed and SEO pass, and one blog post a month. It's only for sites we build. If you'd rather host your site yourself, you can skip it.

Why are your prices posted?

Because you should be able to compare before you talk to anyone. Hiding prices mostly helps the seller.

Are there any fees not on the pricing page?

Only costs paid to other companies, like ad spend or CRM software, and those are billed to you by that company directly. Everything we charge is on the pricing page.

Will my price go up?

Not while you stay. Founding clients keep their rate. If you add services later, those are priced at whatever the pricing page says then.
